We are passionate about education, and our academic programs reflect that. Students enjoy having a variety of courses to choose from, including a variety of college prep and AP courses. Our students receive the support they need to succeed academically, and they have options for courses that meet their needs. Please know it is absolutely necessary to be informed about the graduation requirements. Please feel free to use the information to stay on track with your personal plan of action of graduation and post-secondary planning.
GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
Each student will take five-seven classes depending on his/her year of study, during each of the semesters in which they are enrolled, for a total of 23 possible credits (.5 credits per class per semester). All students must have a full schedule including five classes minimum. Freshmen and Sophomores take a full schedule of 7 classes per semester/ Juniors must take a minimum of 6 classes per semester/ Seniors must take a minimum of 5 classes per semester.
Failed classes must be recovered through Edgenuity coursework, Edgenuity or Summer School, or during the regular day where scheduling permits. There will be a fee of $75 for any credit recovery course taken on Edgenuity. If students receives Free and Reduced Lunch then the fee will be $37.50.

ICAP- Individualized Career and Academic Plan ICAP is the vehicle by which Colorado students explore the world beyond high school and reflect their understanding and plan for these next steps. ICAP is also a tool that reflects how a student’s Postsecondary and Workforce Readiness (PWR) is achieved, accomplished and understood. |

Concurrent Enrollment-
Aims Community College offers high school students several unique programs that provide them college curricula options while completing their high school diploma. Students can take classes in career and technical fields as well as classes that are guaranteed to transfer to post-secondary institutions. Our programs offer high school students the opportunity to take a single college class, earn certificates or even complete an associate degree, all while attending high school!
